Welcome to the PERSONA Project

The PERSONA project supports the development of human capital to enhance productivity, adopt new technologies, improve financial and business capabilities, innovate products, achieve environmental efficiency and sustainability, and expand marketing and market development.

It aims to provide ongoing education, training, and knowledge transfer to farmers, equipping them with the skills and tools to run their enterprises profitably and sustainably. The project emphasizes integrating the latest technologies and processes into farming operations and leverages educational institutions to develop the skills needed in the European agri-food sector.

The PERSONA project began with an kick off meeting in Naklo (Slovenia), where all partners discussed collaboration, project objectives, and the roadmap for future phases. Afterwards, two online meetings addressed preliminary tasks in WP1, which involved conducting desk research on Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems in partner countries and mapping the provision of micro-credentials and short learning programs in agricultural innovation to better understand the European VET landscape.
